Today, CHIRINGO took to WJHG to share about our "Round Up for Neurodiversity" initiative with Neurodiversity Resource of the Pandhandle. Watch the full interview here.
Our co-founder Andy, alongside Lauren from the Neurodiversity Resource of the Panhandle, highlighted the simple yet impactful way our customers can support this cause: by rounding up their bill.
Andy shared, "My wife and I, April, have a five-year-old son named Wells, who is neurodiverse and that led to us connecting with the Neurodiverse Resource of the Panhandle group here locally." This personal connection drives our commitment to the cause. Lauren elaborated on NRP's mission, emphasizing their focus on provider resources, financial aid, and community outreach.
The process is straightforward: "Come in and eat, drink, pay your bill. Round up, and then we'll take the change and donate to the neurodiversity project," Andy explained. This initiative not only raises funds but also awareness for neurodiversity, a spectrum of cognitive abilities that includes dyslexia, ADHD, and autism.
Our collaboration with Neurodiversity Resource of the Panhandle, as Lauren puts it, is about "expanding our voice and reach within the community". Our hope is that this partnership will do tremendous good in our community for families in need.
Thank you to WJHG for helping us tell this story and to everyone who has supported this initiative so far. Your contributions are making a real difference. Learn more about "Round Up for Neurodiversity" by clicking here.
