Neurodiversity Awareness Benefit Concert

Updated: Mar 7

Launching Chiringo’s journey into neurodiversity awareness begins with a story close to home. Andy McKoski, partner and co-owner of Chiringo, and his wife April share a personal chapter of their lives as we announce our role as the presenting sponsor for “Minds that Matter: A Benefit Concert.”

The McKoski family is very familiar with the neurodiversity community and has firsthand knowledge of the clinical and emotional support needed. Their son, Wells, was non-speaking until recently. The McKoskis are extremely grateful that their family has been able to find a team of talented professionals to work with, and they know that his progress is due, in large part, to the counsel, kindness, and acceptance they have received from his team.

So, this concert is more than an event - it’s the start of something big for our company. We’re going to use it as a launching pad for initiatives aimed at raising funds and support for families on similar paths, along with education and awareness of what it means to be neurodivergent. The neurodiversity movement as a whole aims to increase acceptance and inclusion of ALL people while EMBRACING neurological differences.

Through our partnership with the Neurodiversity Resource of the Panhandle, we’re committing to help bring resources and support to this area.
